Strange week.

On Thursday, the root canal. Went remarkably smoothly. No pain or swelling. On the whole: hurrah.
On Saturday, the reading. Lovely. Two hurrahs. Also sunstroke. Harrumph.
On Sunday, pride. Pleasant. One and a half hurrahs.
On Monday, meeting with prof: brief but productive. hurr. Re-registered for school, hurrah to the power of Me.
Monday night, odd puffiness begins. hmm.
Monday through Thursday: consulting health practitioners about puffiness. As yet inconclusive: puffiness unabated. Harrumph.
The Mister cancels visit for upcoming weekend. No beerfest, alas.* harrumph.

*Although obviously if you show up at the station with beer on Saturday you won't be turned away. Or we could all just get soused on Merridale Cider at the Paint-in.

Glad to hear the root canal went well! It still can't be fun, however.

If you like, I can stick you with pins (nowhere indecent!) to relief the puffiness. Maybe it's fluid collecting. Or air! What if you should pop like a balloon??!?!? 0_0 Maybe we'll just tie you to a pole with some string instead and you can bob and drift blissfully in the air...

Seriously though... hope one of those docs can find out what's wrong with ya. :)
